Semi-custom color mixed for the customer mentioned in the last post. Since she just wanted to make sure the color was not subdued, and she sent a picture, I figured I’d just throw a little extra yellow into a small batch before I mixed in the catalyst. It wasn’t color matching- I was looking at a picture over the web, mixed and viewed the color at night under an OTT light, and didn’t get a chance to see what it looked like dry before I printed the run.
Happily, it turned out pretty good!
Also, I ordered a few stock colors of paint to try out- so far I’ve been mixing all my colors from red, yellow, blue, black and white. Check out the new five! I especially love the navy and the turquoise and think they’d make a striking combination for something…
