For those who’ve applied to Crafty Bastards in DC in October, today’s the day (or supposed to be) when we find out who got in… I was quickly sucked in to the Twitter feed on the Crafty Bastards site, and before the day was over, I knew I had to do something.
So I crafted myself a new shrug. I was looking for one- on Etsy, on eBay, vintage or handmade… I have a strapless orange dress that I’d like to wear to weddings this summer that’s a little too, well, strapless for me. I can’t pull it off. So what’s a girl to do? I combined my need for a shrug with my need to keep myself busy. I cannibalized a sweater that I never wore, and trim from my high school homecoming dress (no joke!). Yippee! Win, win!
