Blue Shade

A custom ordered lamp shade printed in Apple Blossom in Royal Blue ink gave me a chance to play with a few new lampshade-making toys that arrived this week. This project came out really, really well- hopefully I’ll get a photo of it once it’s hung in her kitchen!

5th Anniversary Craft

Yay! Five years married, as of yesterday. So my husband, the screen printer, and I, the block printer, spent a little studio time together and made ourselves a little something nice!

A Runner Marathon…

Finished!

The finished runner…

In my day job, one of the useful tools for public outreach is to equate a difficult concept to something that one can picture, so “one part per million” is equivalent to a credit card in the middle of a football field. Every year, the average family throws away an amount [...]

Rain and Buckets

The rainy weather threw me off. On Wednesday, it was hot here. Like summer. So the next day I dressed for the hot weather, but it had cooled off.  Then yesterday, cooler still, and rain. Wished I hadn’t had to go grocery shopping, as it is no fun to push a full grocery cart through [...]
