We’ve filled out our registration form and sent in our check, so it’s official- our first craft show of the year is the Delaware By Hand member’s show on May 29th! With it snowing outside, and the child napping upstairs (fingers crossed, anyway), it seems like a good time to sit down with a cup of [...] Crafty Bastards this past weekend was our first craft show, and holy cow!! It was crazy busy! Dan and I had the most awesome time- seriously, it went as well as I could have hoped- and now that we’ve been back for a couple of days and are mostly recovered, I just wanted to be [...] Crafty Bastards is tommorow and we’re psyched! We got a little carried away, I think. Here’s a list of some of the items we’ll have for sale: Pillow covers (and pillow forms made from recycled plastic bottles) Sorry. I know I’ve been neglecting my blog lately. The thing about it is, I figure a blog is a good place to talk about sources of inspiration, objects of desire, finished projects, new prints or patterns or colors. Like that. Where lately I’ve been a more utilitarian state of mind. I haven’t been inspired [...] “How do you like my new studio?” These were my words in a dream last night, after I found this gorgeous and inspiring prefab cabin at Cabin Fever’s website earlier this week. Not only is it light filled and open, it comes to your house largely assembled! I think of how awesome it would be for [...] I guess it’s my turn to be busy! Working on a new print- very exciting! I created this block specifically for a new project, and I’ll post details as I make progress. I can’t wait to see how this turns out… Starting to get ready for Crafty Bastards. I planned my inventory, my schedule and started ordering [...] For those who’ve applied to Crafty Bastards in DC in October, today’s the day (or supposed to be) when we find out who got in… I was quickly sucked in to the Twitter feed on the Crafty Bastards site, and before the day was over, I knew I had to do something.
